The legend of Red Hand, the new Campari adventure with the visual effects of EDI Italian digital effects

Milan, February 2nd 2018 – EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani, a post-production and visual effects company for cinema and advertising, has worked on the new Campari short movie, The Legend of Red Hand, the second episode of the Campari Red Diaries campaign.

The short was directed by Stefano Sollima for the production of Think Cattleya from an idea by J.W. Thompson. EDI Italian Digital Effects digitally created the backgrounds of the international locations featured in the film. The post-production and visual effects company also oversaw the scenographic implementation of the kaleidoscope in the sequences inside the Bar Campari, the starting point of the story.

“Working with Campari is a great challenge every time since we deal with works characterized by great creativity. – says Stefano Leoni, VFX Supervisor and partner of EDI Italian Digital Effects – In this short movie there was the need to visualize international locations and it was exciting to be able to achieve what the subject required with visual effects. We thank Think Cattleya, JWT and director Stefano Sollima for the great opportunity given to us ”.
