The Greatest Showman
Direction: Michael Gracey
Plot. P.T. Barnum, the shrewd circus impresario who went into business with young Phillip, has on his hands the revolutionary project of a huge three-ring circus, with four stages and 20,000 seats. The ambitious businessmen enthusiastically embark on the realization of the lavish spectacle, which brings to the stage new acrobatics and freaks freaks never seen before, until they both become infatuated with two young stars of the stage. Phillip gets lost in the twirls and turns of the sultry trapeze artist Anne, while Barnum is bewitched by the sweet singing of artist Jenny Lind, the shy soprano known to audiences as the "Swedish nightingale," for her crystal-clear voice that goes straight to the heart.
