Mixed by Erry

Plot. A story of passion and dreams that from Naples becomes an incredible international adventure. In the Campania capital of the 1980s, where Maradona is a deity, Enrico ""Erry"" Frattasio turns the mixtapes he makes for his friends into an empire, thanks to the help of his brothers Peppe and Angelo. A venture that will change their existences, will reinvent the concept of piracy in Italy and will bring music into everyone's lives.

Goal, solutions, results. The most important part of the work was recreating Italy and Naples of the 1980s/90s. We were involved in a huge amount of extensions, crowds and CG Set environments. We added in CG all those details that make the story of Mixed By Erry so unique.

In the scene of Napoli winning the Scudetto, a lot of roto was used and the effect of smoke bombs added. In the long sequence shot in the car, we deleted the flatbed that towed it and used a crane on a truck.

We also recreated Milan of the time, on scenes that were shot in Rome, adding a streetcar that was missing and reconstructing the buildings as they appeared at the time.
