Plot. The drama tells the story of the enigmatic and mysterious Shadow Moon, a man just released from prison after serving a three-year sentence forassault. Shadow is released a few days early because of the death of his wife Laura. During the flight home, Shadown has inexplicable visions about the world of deities worshipped by peoples of the past, episodes he has already experienced during the last days of his stay in prison. Upon awakening, still in the plane, Shadow finds himself sitting next to a man who introduces himself as Mr. Wednesday and who inexplicably shows himself informed of his story. The man asks him to work for him as a bodyguard. Shadow accepts the proposal. In accompanying Mr. Wednesday on his journey, Shadow learns of his true identity: he stands before the mortal remains of the ancient god Odin. The all-powerful master of Asgaror, the Scandinavian Olympus, is embarking on a journey across America to bring together old biblical and mythological gods who, with no more believers, are forced to pretend to be ordinary men, to form an army of gods ready to fight in an epic clash the new gods: money, technology, fame and drugs, which modern man worships and is addicted to. Shadow is then drawn into this journey, where in a continuous meeting between the mortal world and the divine world.
