Plot. Sandro, dealer and expert in antique books, half Italian and half English, lives in London with his wife Bianca and daughter Penelope. At a party he meets Laura, and it is love at first sight, but the woman is to be married the following month, and both strive to honor each other's commitments. However, their mutual attraction will eventually affect their lives in a continuing lack of the symmetrical timing that will allow the two to live out their love story.
