Plot. Fausto Ciaramella, is a young aspiring musician, in the Caserta of the1970s. Called Faustino by everyone, the protagonist - just 18 years old - dreams of breaking through in the show business as a guitarist and desperately seeks a gig to avoid the draft military service. He finally gets a job with the orchestra of maestro Domenico Falasco, where, however he finds himself playing for unlikely village festivals. Faustino's hopes for glory are rekindled when he meets manager Raffaele Niro, who offers him to work with the famous pianist Augusto Riverberi during the summer. Despite the great opportunity, the beginnings for Faustino are not easy, often forced to confront a difficult reality and broken promises. When by now it seems that there is nothing to do but abandon his dreams, there comes a Faustino's door knocks someone unexpected...
