Italy In A Day

Plot. We asked Italians to send us videos made by any means to be shot during the 24 hours of October 26, 2013. Wishes, dreams, fears, reflections, anything considered important that was happening that day or even, simply, what you saw from the window of the house. Italy in a Day is 44,197 videos received, over 2200 hours of images, 632 edited videos, a team of 40 selectors coordinated by editors Massimo Fiocchi and Chiara Griziotti. Italy in a Day is an emotional diary, a census of the emotions and thoughts of Italians, a secular confession, a desire to share one's feelings through the images, a collective Italian psychodrama, from time to time tender, angry, funny or desperate. But also an engaging reflection, sincere and without intellectual filters, on the meaning itself of our common journey on planet Earth in these years.
