Plot. In a large villa on Lake Como, everything is ready to celebrate Elio and Caterina's wedding. It will be the most beautiful day of their lives and also that of their parents, especially their respective fathers, Giacomo and Giovanni. The two have known each other since their school days and have shared everything. Their children's wedding represents the most exciting seal to their unbreakable friendship. Too bad that along with Margherita, Giovanni's ex-wife, Aldo, his new partner, also arrives at the wedding. Sympathetic, expansive and above all a screw-up, the newcomer comes down on the wedding like a tornado, stringing together a series of hilarious and costly gaffes and accidents. Giacomo and Giovanni try to contain him in every way, but under Aldo's blows cracks open from which a hidden malaise emerges, destined to call into question the friendship between Giovanni and Giacomo, their marriages and more. And that will force everyone to come to terms with their doubts and the courage it takes to allow themselves happiness.
