Plot. Marco is 18 years old, about to graduate from high school but faced with life's fateful choices, he is terribly distressed by absolute uncertainty about his future. The summer ""of maturity"" takes a sudden twist when, following a scooter accident, Marco receives compensation from the insurance company that will allow him to leave for San Francisco. To his disappointment, however, Maria, a schoolmate nicknamed by all ""the Nun,"" will leave for her own destination, hosted by the same pair of friends contacted by her classmate Vulcan. At the San Francisco airport, two boys are waiting for them, Matt and Paul. What Vulcan did not mention is that Matt and Paul live together and are a gay couple. Irritation and prejudice set in immediately, and Marco distances himself even more from Maria ""the Bigot."" Despite the premise, in the following days the four friends begin to get to know each other, laying the groundwork for building an unexpected and surprising friendship, and the days will begin to pass quickly and new for all of them. This will soon become their Summer. Forever.
