Ella & John: The Leisure Seeker

Plot. The Leisure Seeker is the nickname of the old motor home in which Ella and John Spencer used to vacation with their children in the 1970s. One summer morning, to escape from a fate of medical care that would separate them forever, the couple climbs aboard of that vehicle to hurtle adventurously down Old Route 1, destination Key West. John is faded and forgetful but strong, Ella is hunched and frail but lucid, together they begin that journey of theirs in an America they no longer recognize. This is an opportunity to revisit a marital love story nurtured by passion and devotion, but also by secret obsessions that brutally resurface, yielding surprising revelations until the very last moment.
Goal, solutions, results. Our intervention consisted of adding background and reflections in the streets, we added smoke and RV exhausts. We then made some minor changes street signs. And some cleanup work.
